What We Need
The
Senior RCM Business Analyst
will report directly to the Director, Revenue Cycle Management. This team member provides RCM and DME expertise across the organization to help support the operational needs and financial results of the business.
What You Will Do
Serve as an RCM and DME subject matter expert and provide support to departments across the organization including but not limited to RCM, Operations (Order Intake, Qualification, and Fulfillment teams), Call Center, Compliance, Business and Product Development, IT, Finance, QA, and Training and Development.Serve as a resource to the company for DME product qualification and billing requirements.Proactively identify opportunities, propose solutions, and lead training initiatives as well as process and technology improvements throughout the business that have a direct impact on end-to-end Revenue Cycle performance and results.Provide guidance and support to reduce denials and adjustments through reporting, data analysis, root cause identification, solution and action planning, implementation, and follow through.Develop, implement, and maintain administrative and operating policies and procedures as well as job aids and training materials that have a direct impact on end-to-end Revenue Cycle performance and results.Assist with updating and maintaining fee schedules and payer rules in the billing system.Assist with the relationship and performance of third-party vendors responsible for systems, technology, and revenue cycle functions.Maintain an extensive knowledge of different types of payer coverage, insurance policies, payer guidelines and payer contracts to ensure accurate billing and timely payment.Ensure compliance with third party payor requirements and all applicable state/federal laws.Act as a liaison between business users and system development and configuration authorities within our revenue cycle management systems and solutions.What You Have

Bachelor’s degree, preferred.At least 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry in revenue cycle management role, including experience with revenue cycle, billing, payment posting, AR/denials management, and patient financial services.Expert understanding of Healthcare reimbursement/collections, medical billing, ICD10 coding, patient documentation, chart auditing, and state and federal regulations.DME revenue cycle experience.Proficient in MS Office applications and ability to learn department and job-specific software systems (e.g., applicable practice management and EMR systems).What Sets You Apart
