SUMMARY
The Data Scientist provides analysis and develops algorithms and software for clinical and scientific problems. The position impacts clinical, operational, and scientific research projects by developing programs and applications tailored to meet specific research objectives.
KEY FUNCTIONS
The ideal candidate will have expertise in the analysis of large-scale single-cell and spatial transcriptomics and proteomics datasets and competence in multi-omics data integration.
Briefly, the candidate will work with diverse types of sequencing-based data including but not limited to scRNA-Seq, scATAC-Seq, and scProteomic data such as Cytof and multiparameter spectral flow cytometry, as well as bulk-tissue based ChIP-seq and Perturb-Seq. Expertise in single-cell sequencing data analysis and integration is a priority. Familiarity with various bulk-tissue based sequencing technologies is a plus. He/she should also demonstrate the willingness to learn and to keep up with the development of new technologies in the field. As a member of the Rezvani team, the candidate will be involved in all aspects of a research project and will have the opportunity to develop robust computational tools and pipelines for data processing and analysis.
Analyzes data, develops and assists others in the development of formalisms, algorithms and software for complex applications.Develops and maintains software tools and infrastructure for resolving specific problems.Assists in the development, testing and revision of programs.Advises and assists users and other personnel in analyzing, defining and resolving computer problems.
