Patient Care Technician - PCT - Inpatient Rehab

Full Time - Night Shift - 36 hours

The Inpatient Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Unit (Meyer 7)

is an 18-bed adult inpatient unit, requiring inpatient care Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy services. Our team of experts specialize in rehabilitation care for amputation, spinal cord injury and dysfunction, complex medical conditions, brain injury and illness, musculoskeletal injury, and stroke. A Neuropsychologist is available as part of the care team to provide support to the patient, family, and staff. You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team in developing an inpatient and discharge care plan.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.1 year of acute care (hospital) tech experience within the most recent 2 years is required (EMT or CRT experience may be considered).BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.
