We are seeking SRE/DevOps engineers who are passionate about using both creative and critical thinking skills to maintain and enhance the platform that is crucial to the daily operations. You'll work collaboratively with teams on a wide range of projects. In addition to enhancing the application and resolving issues, you'll also be responsible for reporting, cloud infrastructure, deployment, maintenance, and controls improvement.
SRE/DevOps Engineer Responsibilities
Maintains a smooth-running technologyOversee Infrastructure and application monitoring/support, manage service level agreements and implement automationManage/provide oversight on application issues, identify root cause and ensure timely resolutionManage incident response including investigation, resolution, communication, and escalation as requiredEnsure application site reliabilityProvides guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activitiesManage dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirementsManage client and technology stakeholder relationships required for smooth operations of the platformRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
Strong technical and functional experience in the industry5-7 years of hands-on SRE/DevOps experience3+ years experience in SRE/DevOps team for cloud-based application(s)Experienced with AWS and AWS services like ECS, RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, ElastiCache Redis, S3, Key Management Services (KMS), Lambda, CloudWatch, Application Load Balancer, Route53, API GatewayExperienced in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) by using Terraform and configuration management tool Chef CookbookExperienced in building and maintaining Jenkins Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and Jenkins shared librariesExperienced with Log Analytics tools like Splunk, Application Monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, GrafanaUnderstanding of container orchestration software like Kubernetes and AWS EKSExperienced with Site Reliability, Applicant Resiliency, Authentication and Authorization, FinOps managementExperienced in messaging systems like Kafka, MQExperience with React, Java, JavaScriptProficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle and AgileStrong communicator and Quick learner: Able to communicate technical and non-technical information to the business and technical stakeholders
