Medical Technologist - Histology - NEW Histotech OR Histology Technician Opening at a well-established laboratory located in Chicago, IL!This laboratory has a full range of services including (but not limited to) hematology, serology, virology, flow cytometry, chemistry, molecular biology, NGS and anatomic pathology. This laboratory houses an innovation center that improves turnaround times through pioneering sophisticated tools and automated technology.If you are looking to work in an industry-leading laboratory - apply below!This laboratory is looking to hire a permanent and full-time Histotech on the night shift. The histotech is responsible for:Preparation of gross specimensEmbedding tissuesProcessing tissue specimensCutting tissuesPerforming all stainsDeveloping new techniquesTeachingFor consideration, applicants must have an Associates Degree in Laboratory Science or an accredited Histology Program. HT (ASCP) or HTL (ASCP) Certification is strongly preferred.This laboratory is offering a top-notch compensation package!
