Medical Technologist - General - (Reference Code : ACC 910280)NEW Medical Technologist OR Medical Laboratory Technician Opening at a state-of-the-art laboratory located in the Chicago, Illinois area! This laboratory prides itself on a culture of customer service, highly reliable clinical and anatomic pathology testing with a focus on providing excellent laboratory service. In addition, this laboratory is fully accredited by both CLIA and CAP.This laboratory is looking to hire on a permanent and full time Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician. The Medical Technologist OR Medical Laboratory Technician will be responsible for specimen processing, test performance and reporting test results. Testing performed will include waived, moderate and high complexity tests as authorized by the Director. He/She will report results of all tests performed according to established procedures. In addition, this individual will participate fully in all quality control procedures.For consideration, applicants must have either an AS or BS degree in laboratory sciences including an ASCP (or equivalent) Certification as a MT/MLS or MLT.This laboratory offers a fantastic compensation package.
