Everest Group, Ltd. (‘Everest’ or ‘the Group’) is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain Everest’s Reinsurance application infrastructure and automation solutions to join our Warren, NJ office. The candidate will collaborate with development teams and infrastructure / cloud ops engineers to address critical issues. Proficiency in cloud technologies, DevOps, containers, Kubernetes, security, scripting, automation, and platform engineering for ensuring seamless system operations. The candidate should possess strong technical aptitude, analytical and communication skills, and exceptional problem-solving ability.Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Requirement gathering from application teams for creation of CICD pipeline to automate software deployment, emphasizing engineering and self-service automation.Setting up of DevOps process for the team.Drive the adoption of Source Code Management and Development best practices.Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using Azure Devops pipeline.Collaborate with Enterprise infrastructure teams to provision cloud resources.Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems.Should be able to deliver the assigned tasks independently.Should be proactive in communication and tracking.Ensure security and compliance of infrastructure and applications.Qualifications, Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field7+ years of experience in DevOps or related field12+ years overall IT Experience5+ years of cloud engineering and design experience.Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) with a focus on engineering best practices.Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud platformStrong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools.Hands on experience on Github, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes and Terraform, AnsibleExperience using Azure CI/CD YAML Pipelines experience is desirable.Experience with monitoring and logging toolsExcellent problem-solving skills, effective in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Proficiency in scripting and automation for efficient engineering workflows.Relevant industry certificationsExperience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.Ability to work independently and as part of agile team using scrum methodology.Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
