Litigation Associate Attorney

Stinson LLP seeks a highly motivated associate attorney with at least two years of litigation experience to join our Bismarck, North Dakota office, who will regard employment in Bismarck as a long-term commitment.
Excellent writing and research skills and academics are required. Experience in oil and gas is preferred but not required, and clerkship and court experience is a plus. The successful candidate should have the following experience and skills:
Significant responsibility for pleadings, motions, and briefing on complex matters;
Proficiency handling e-discovery and fact development;
The confidence to tackle complex fact, legal, and logistical issues with foresight;
The ability to be strategic and analytical.
The role requires a candidate with strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of maturity, a willingness to learn, and a desire to manage a challenging workload involving high-stakes litigation, administrative hearings, and trial work. An active North Dakota license or the ability to become licensed is required.
