What You’ll Be Doing

As a Business Systems Analyst on the US Risk Technology team, you’ll serve as a technology partner for the US risk management function. We are working on challenging projects, including onboarding new data sources to our Azure SQL data hub, automating manual compliance processes using Power Platform, and enhancing our SEC 13F reporting tools. This is a hybrid position located in Chicago that requires on-site presence at least two days per week. Our newly renovated office at 70 W. Madison Street in Chicago is designed to encourage teamwork.How You’ll Succeed

Understand and Document requirements—elicit requirements given complex, ambiguous business problems. Prepare business requirement documents, including an in-depth analysis of data, process flows, and current and future state models. Capture non-functional requirements encompassing performance, scalability, and security. Facilitate stakeholder reviews, solution design discussions, and requirement walk-through sessions.Technical Skills: Make the link between business problems and technology solutions with a cloud-first mindset.Business savvy: Apply knowledge of banking and risk management to ensure alignment between business objectives and software requirements.Collaboration: Build trusted working relationships with business stakeholders, technology partners, and external vendors.Communication: Write with precision and clarity. Express technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, changes in the banking industry, and regulatory developments.Who You Are

You can demonstrate at least three years of experience in a technical role in the financial services industry with a relevant post-secondary degree. Work with databases, cloud computing, or application development and support would be particularly relevant.You should be comfortable writing SQL queries and have basic familiarity with another programming language. Experience with Microsoft Azure and the Power Platform would be valuable.You understand banking fundamentals. Exposure to risk management, capital stress testing, credit risk models, and regulatory compliance would be particularly relevant.You embrace and champion change.
