Background:

A graduate Piping Stress Engineer will carry out the pipe stress analysis and related activities.

Requirement:

A Piping Stress Engineer will be responsible for the following:

Should be able to:

Plan, Communicate, Control, Execute the project.

Ensure timely execution timeline of the project and back-log clearance, if required.

Coordinate with Process, Civil/Structural, Mechanical and Electrical & Instrumentation groups to ensure design suits all these departments.

Collaborate with Stress and Support Engineers for optimal design.

Do vendor drawing reviews and provide comments, if any Modelling of clips on equipment.

Extract and check isometrics.

Should be able to carry out both Dynamic and static analysis. Can perform Flange leakage test analysis as per 2901. Prepare Plot plans, nozzle orientation, platform drawings, structure details, and GAD's. Drafting, basics execution involving piping stress modeling, and piping supports drawings preparation according to project specifications and internal standards. Responsible for design, monitoring, and control of the piping stress design progress including the coordination with the customers and vendors for progress and updates. Responsible for the technical guideline preparation and the final check of all the project deliverables like stress report, piping supports/expansion bellows supply specifications and drawings in accordance with international standards and project specifications. Review, feasibility studies, NPD, CTH at an advanced level to which technically complex tasks (ex. acoustic assessment, fatigue evaluation, dynamic simulations) or project technical supervision are typically delegated. Responsible for the internal design standards approval.

Required Qualifications & Competencies:

Mechanical Engineering degree.

5 to 12 years of experience in the related industry (Design/EPC/Oil and Gas/Petrochemical industry).

Fluent English written and oral communication/interpersonal skills.

Good interpersonal skills and working collaboratively with other teams.

Experience with Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

API certification is an advantage.

Assist with promoting best practices internally.

Assist with promoting the Company to customers.

Knowledge of material and piping codes/standards/ASME standards.

Proven Piping stress Analysis experience is a must.

Experience working on Tools/Software: Pipe Stress analysis software CAESAR II, Autopipe, CAEPIPE, Rohr2, PEPS, 3D Model Viewing in Navisworks, etc. Good to have skills include exposure to project planning software/tools, experience with SharePoint for document management, and experience in an engineering position in Oil and gas/Petro-chemical/LNG sector in Piping & structural engineering.
