About the Position

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our growing Energy team in our Honolulu Hawaii office. The ideal candidate possesses 10+ years of project management experience managing government contracts and wants to grow, collaborate, and innovate. Qualified candidates will have knowledge/experience working with USACE, NAVFAC, AFCEC and/or DoD fuel organizations (DLA-Energy). In this position, the successful candidate will help lead project management activities like project scoping/budgeting for proposals, building schedules, tracking hours/budget/schedule adherence, communication with clients, issues resolution, deliverable submittals and project closeout, while establishing strong relationships with clients, internal teams and management/stakeholders. We are seeking someone who can be an independent self-starter and can move quickly and efficiently through the stages of a project.Working for a Program Manager, with a project management team including Project Coordinators, Schedulers, and Site Managers, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple government Task Order contracts for facilities maintenance and repair projects at various military installations throughout the United States and the Pacific Theater. The Project Manager will also be in direct communication with the responsible government agencies to facilitate the initiation, tracking and completion of regularly scheduled inspections, service order work, and emergency repair/response actions. Currently manages $10-15 in project actions annually with total program value of approx. $50M.Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution (degree in engineering field - civil/mechanical/environmental or similar is a plus)Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Project ManagerMinimum of 10 years’ experience working with government contractsMinimum of 5 years’ experience as a SupervisorProfessional Engineer (PE) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plusExperience with relevant software such as Microsoft Office, MS Project, etc.Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality workAbility and desire to learn and grow professionallyDuties & Responsibilities

Communicate directly with the government Program Manager and Task Order Project Managers and Contracting Officer along with local Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and other government officials in regard to services performed on ContractsDirect and manage the company Project staffDevelop and manage required training and processes to the Project employees and field techniciansResponsible for the overall management of Project costs, schedule, and technical execution of each contract from inception to completionDevelop, track and execute program budget overall and by Task Order; Responsible for profitability of the ProjectOversee updating and operation of the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) used to track and report actions with emphasis on reconciliation of service/work orders and reporting to the clientReview and process invoices, purchase orders and requisitions to ensure that all maintenance and repair work performed is billed correctly and timelyPosition Criteria:

Knowledge/experience working with USACE, NAVFAC, AFCEC and/or DoD fuel organizations (DLA-Energy)Knowledge and experience with Firm Fixed Price and Task Order Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contractsKnowledge of operation and maintenance of Department of Defense petroleum fuel facilitiesFamiliar with operation, maintenance, and repair of above ground storage tanks, underground storage tanks, hydrant systems, pumps, valves and retail dispensersFamiliar with pipeline configurations and associated refueling componentsAbout Pond

We anticipate filling this position as a Project Manager with a salary range of $99,400.00 - $157,600.00 per year. Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. Additional cash incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a range of medical, financial and/or other benefits dependent on position offered.All offers of employment made by Pond & Company are contingent upon satisfactory background check results.
