Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategiesCounsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcomeAppear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedingsOversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staffTake responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients and completing tasksQualifications
Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis)Ability to use Microsoft Office is requiredAble to work independently while handling multiple filesJobseekers should be a member of their local bar association - active member preferredPublic speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this roleBilingual in English and Spanish is requiredMinimum of 3-5 years experience in Family Court in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach countiesExperienced managing a dedicated paralegal to maximize productivityWilling to have difficult client conversations, while showing empathy and compassion for their troubles, and highlighting possibilities that will enable them to see a path forward with their situation more clearlyMember in good standing with the Florida BarAbout Company
