The analyst is involved with cash flow analysis, international finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), strategic negotiations, and business development. The analyst will be expected to develop an understanding of regional market dynamics, Air Products’ industrial gases offerings, and the competitive landscape.
This position will be based in either Allentown, PA or at our Houston, TX office.Job DutiesCash Flow ModelingPerform analysis and provide recommendations for assessments of new business opportunitiesSupport contract negotiations by providing timely analysis and strategic insight to enhance financial returns and reduce Air Products’ risk exposureUphold and apply Air Products’ finance and accounting standardsCapital spend forecasting and reportingWritten requests to CEO and Board of Directors for approval of capital expendituresCoordinate and support the development of standardized financial models and outputs in the AmericasMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred, with 3-5 years of financial analyst experienceStrong communication skills combined with proficiency in project/risk analysis, operational analysis, accounting knowledgeExcellent influencing and interpersonal skillsDemonstrate a high level of intellectual curiosity and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skillsAbility to leverage the skills above to influence and ultimately improve the risk/return profile of dealsWe are the world’s largest hydrogen producer with over 80 years of industrial gas experience.
