The DevOps Engineer Intern will support the Software Engineering Institute’s (SEI) mission by working with the DevSecOps Innovation team that helps government customers to better understand their technical challenges, identify actionable solutions, and provide guidance to programs to operationalize the most effective techniques and practices.

Expertise in DevOps processes and tools, resilient system design and implementation, requirements gathering and analysis enables our team to develop comprehensive engineering processes tailored to rare customer needs, or to improve existing processes by prototyping and demonstrating new technologies.

Built on confirmed SEI software engineering methodologies and cyber security expertise, SEI’s engineering processes lead to efficient, successful, and secure product development, deployment, and maintenance.

Requirements:

Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree granting program, with availability to work an internship schedule during the summer semester.Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.Applicants for this position must be currently legally authorized to work for CMU in the United States. CMU will not sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this opportunity.Candidates will be subject to a background check.Ability to work onsite at our offices in Pittsburgh.Location
