As the Continuous Improvement and Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our manufacturing and engineering operations, maintaining top-tier standards of quality, safety, and compliance. Your responsibilities will include spearheading continuous improvement projects, promoting a culture of Lean and Quality, and ensuring alignment with Safe Quality Foods (SQF) and Workplace Safety Programs.Client Details

Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and adherence to all Quality Objectives and Directives pertinent to your role.Engage actively in Lean, Quality, Product Safety, SQF, and Workplace Safety Programs.Apply CI/Lean tools, processes, and systems to enhance efficiency and quality.Analyze and communicate departmental key metrics concerning continuous improvements and Environmental, Health, and Safety performance.Utilize Lean Principles to drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) analysis and create improvement action plans.Collaborate with the site management team to develop and implement a transformation plan aligning with business goals.Provide training, communication, and post-event follow-up for Lean initiatives.Utilize financial drivers and KPIs for informed decision-making and process enhancement.Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement.Streamline manufacturing processes and engineering workflows to minimize waste.Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to boost productivity and quality.Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies for both manufacturing and engineering.Train and mentor team members on process improvement methods.Monitor and report on KPIs to monitor progress.Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.Coordinate closely with the engineering team to align process improvements with engineering requirements.Profile

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field.Candidates should possess five or more years of experience in plant leadership, including at least two years in a role focused on implementing Lean manufacturing strategies within complex manufacturing settings.Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement efforts in manufacturing environments is essential.Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma principles is required.Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities are necessary.Effective communication and leadership skills are crucial.Candidates should be results-oriented with a proven track record of implementing process enhancements.Job Offer
