Schedule of the Physician Assistant | Urgent Care:
This is a Full-time, Part-time or Per-Diem positionMonday to Friday (8:00 AM to 8:00 PM) with every other Saturday
Responsibilities of the Physician Assistant | Urgent Care:
Develop and implement treatment plans that are appropriate for each patient’s condition or illnessConduct physical examinations and tests to diagnose conditions, infections, disease processes, etc.Provide advice to patients about health maintenance, hygiene practices, diet modification, medication use, etc.Perform diagnostic tests, such as wound culture, urinalysis, and blood testsTreat minor wounds, cuts, and other injuries using sterile techniques to prevent infectionProvide educational services to patients regarding their illness or injuryOrder diagnostic tests, such as X-rays or laboratory tests, to help determine the cause of an injury or illnessCommunicate with other healthcare team members to discuss patient care plansProvide counseling services to patients with behavioral health problems
