Our unique expertise and capabilities in technology, data science and healthcare enable the entire healthcare ecosystem to drive better health outcomes.DescriptionAs a member of the Sponsors, Payors, and Sites (SPS) engineering organization, you will collaborate with data scientists, UX, product, test, and other teams to deliver new systems and features for internal and external professional users. You’ll help deliver insights, facilitate workflows, and integrate systems together. These efforts feed directly into Verily’s mission, providing accurate data to deliver precision health.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Product Management, UX, Test, and cross-functional engineering teams to design engineering solutions and implementations that meet customer needs.Implement APIs and business logic in Go, meeting security, provenance, automated testing, and other related goals.Implement database changes, aligning on schema, and solving for performance issues when necessary.Implement front end designs in React, meeting accessibility, automated testing, requirements traceability, and analytics as needed along with other goals.Develop using industry-standard tools such as GitHub, Jira, Google Cloud, Docker, and Terraform.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.2+ years of industry experience.Strong programming skills, and knowledge of data structures and algorithms.Working knowledge of cloud architecture fundamentals and web security protocols.A growth mindset and willingness to pick up new programming languages, technologies, and domain knowledge to be productive in this role.Preferred QualificationsExperience with API design.Experience with Go and/or React.Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Spanner, KMS, etc.).Experience with microservices, continuous integration, release management.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000 -178,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
