You will be involved, hands-on, through the entire development cycle to help redefine the way we serve our global clients in the use of performance methodologies such as attribution, returns, statistics, and benchmark construction across all of our various asset classes.Responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior Java Engineer with 3+ years of experience. You will also:Lead significant areas of development within the overall portfolioContribute to code reviews and provide feedback on others’ designs/codeCode, test, debug and implement software solutionsParticipate in decisions regarding tactical vs. strategic trade-offsAssist and mentor more junior engineersBusiness Knowledge
Experience working directly with business partnersExperience with integration across industry leading performance systems would be preferred (example: FactSet, BiSam, Eagle, etc.)Requirements
3+ years of progressive Java development experience including microservice developmentSignificant expertise designing, developing, deploying, and supporting APIsExperience in AWS cloud technologies are highly preferredExperience with automated delivery pipelines, agile delivery and test-driven developmentIn-depth knowledge of software design patternsExperience developing Angular/React/Vue helpfulConfident communicator with ability to defend and/or react to conflicting viewsAble to work independentlyAble to work with existing data models and schemas and suggest changes and improvementsWork Flexibility
This role is eligible for remote work up to three days a week.FINRA Requirements
