About the roleOur Systems Infrastructure Engineer will assist with representing WRA in the following capacity:Provide advanced technical support for Desktop and Network to clients via phone, email, and remote access tools, ensuring timely resolution of issues related to hardware, software, networking, server, and storage services.Responsible for the daily administration of a network and server environment.Installs, configures, and maintains system software.Monitors network performance, troubleshoots issues, and deploys solutions.Documents network issues and events using standard formats.Plans and implements upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment installation.Maintains and follows disaster recovery, security, backup, and restore plans.May evaluate new tools or equipment and perform analysis/feasibility studies to guide decisions on optimizing network performance.ResponsibilitiesProvides day-to-day technical support to employees for internal desktop systems hardware and software as well as support for network, server, and storage infrastructure.Installs, configures, and troubleshoots Windows 10, 11 and MacOS devices, smartphones, and network equipment.Supports Azure AD and manages Users and Computers objects in AD in a hybrid environment.Performs Windows imaging and proactively researches and drives IT towards modern approaches for image management and patching.Maintains network systems, installing new hardware and modifying existing hardware, and related network software and applications.Responsible for endpoint management.Responsible for vendor management.Supports O365/M365 applications including Office and Teams.Installs and maintains peripheral devices including multi-function printers, plotters, hubs, routers, and teleconferencing equipment.Communicates with end users to understand and troubleshoot problems.Responsible for proper configuration and use of ticketing systems, knowledge base systems and CMDB in collaboration with the IT Team.Conducts periodic diagnostics and testing to ensure optimal network function and minimal downtime.Maintains email and internet services, adding and removing users and accounts.Understands Software delivery and implementation.Collaborates with IT Manager and Systems Administrator to review and analyze hardware and software needs; recommends changes.Onboarding and off-boarding employees, assist in new-hire orientation training.Onsite as well as remote support will be provided across 3 offices.Able to complete tasks in a group as well as individually.Performs other duties as assigned.EducationTypically requires a bachelor's degree. May require Network Administrator Certification.Skill SetStrong verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, in-depth knowledge of applicable policies and principles, good leadership skills, and good time management skills. Open minded and eagerness to learn.ReportsSystems Infrastructure Engineer will report to IT Manager and coordinate with Principals and Partners.Continuing Education/ Expertise/ LeadershipParticipate in continuing education seminars, conventions & organizations relevant to information management. Stay up to date on the latest best practices and techniques.
