SummaryHart Energy, leader in energy content, is seeking a skilled Accounting Manager. This role is responsible for assisting with the management of accounting, auditing and budgeting processes within the organization. Duties include producing financial summary statements, forecasting the company's financial health and correcting inaccuracies in the company's financial records.Duties include but are not limited to the below. Please note that a complete job description will be provided to interviewed candidates.Prepares financial statements to summarize and forecast the company's financial status.Produces and manages balance sheets and analyzes future earnings and expenses.Plays an active role in month-end close process, including but not limited to processing journal entries, bank reconciliation, and performing variance analysis.Assists with management of accounting, auditing and budgeting within the organization.Assists with preparation of audit schedules and supervision of annual audit.Works to reconcile accounting inaccuracies or imbalances.Manages the journal entry process and reconciliation schedule completion and review.Ensures compliance with, and prepares reports according to, applicable government regulations.Files Sales Tax Reports Monthly.Maintain communication with external tax advisers regarding tax issues.Works closely with the Controller to ensure best practices for audit, month-end close, and development and systems training of staff.Other duties as assigned.Requirements And QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field desired.MBA, CPA, or CMA a plus.Minimum 8 years experience in accounting / finance roles.Knowledge of Sage Intaact and Hubspot a plus.Strong computer skills and knowledge of accounting software programs.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Solid understanding of GAAP and applicable regulations.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.Detail oriented and highly organized.Skilled in time management and ability to prioritize tasks.Must be able to work independently and with the highest level of integrity.Competitive Benefits PackageCompetitive, full time salary.Medical, dental, vision health plans.Life and AD&D.401(K) Plan.Up to 21 PTO days (Paid Time Off) annually for new hires.11 paid Holidays.Hybrid WorkThis is not a remote position.
