We are seeking a Software Engineering - QA Automation - Intermediate for a very important client.As an Automation Engineer, the candidate will be required to provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by automating the various test phases in SDLC as much as possible. The role will involve working with business, product team and other program stakeholders.Responsibilities:
Use tools like JIRA to document software requirements in Gherkin format using cucumber framework that will help in test driven development and test automation.Design Test Scenarios and develop test plan for System integration testing and User acceptance testing.Develop software that will be used in automation of the quality assurance phase of JPMorgan Wealth Management Servicing Platform that includes multiple internal facing web applications, middleware services and databases.Develop test automation software using Selenium web-driver, Rest assured Java framework for the user interface and the APIs (Application programming interface) for the various JPMorgan Wealth Management Servicing platform features.Evaluate and identify the right automation tool and framework for new features.Develop code to execute the automation test suite and generate the test execution report as part of CI/CD (Continuous integration and Continuous deployment) pipeline.Produce comprehensive test cases for all developed code and support and participate in system and integrated testing across sub-systems as the need arises.Perform regression testing for every release to ensure the new code is not negatively impacting existing functionalities and automate the regression test cases to speed up future code deployments.Ensure coverage of all aspects of application testing and test automation.Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:Must have:
6 plus years experience.Business analyst experience.Hands on experience in test automation frameworks like Gherkin, Selenium, Cypress etc.Good understanding with Java.Hands on experience in test driven development and frameworks like Cucumber.Nice to have:
Mobile experience.Exposure to UI.Skills:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field and 6+ years' experience in a related field.Strong technical, analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.Hands on experience in test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress etc.Hands on experience in test driven development and frameworks like Cucumber.Proficient in PL/SQL and reading, writing SQL queries.Demonstrated teamwork and ability to work with diversified multi-location team.Experience with working on Agile/Scrum method of product implementation and delivery.Experience with Maven build and CI/CD tools.Experience with Source repositories Bitbucket or GitHub.
