Position Overview
The Senior Mobile Application Developer will be a key person on the Mobile Development team within Signify Health. If you’re passionate about iOS, want to help shape the direction of our next generation features and products for our Doctors, and to make a significant impact on the health and lives of thousands of people, then we have the perfect position for you! We’re looking for a mobile app developer to help in the development and maintenance of our mobile apps. The developer will work closely with the business owners, product management, and the Signify Health engineering team during the entire product lifecycle, from concept to delivery and post-launch support.Qualifications/Experience
Experience in developing and shipping high-quality iOS applications2+ years of experience with iOS, Xcode, Objective C, Swift 4, 5, SwiftUI4+ years of object-oriented programming based developmentIn-depth understanding of the iOS platform and its apps development ecosystemIntimate knowledge of iOS design patterns as well as Apple’s Human Interface GuidelinesSolid understanding of RESTful APIs and IntegrationsHands-on knowledge of SQL-like languageExperience with Automated Testing Tools and Unit Testing ToolsFlexible and able to successfully accept change and lead the chargeUp to speed with the latest iOS version changes, features, and requirementsHands-on experience developing and supporting reusable iOS componentsExperience with consumer-facing UI developmentUnderstanding of the S.O.L.I.D principlesAbility to write well-abstracted, reusable, and efficient code and correctly employ object-oriented design patternsHave apps on app stores, a portfolio or a blog, and can share a link with usPreferred Skills
Graduated with CS or related degree (BSCS, BCIS, or MIS)Understanding of the full development life cycle, SCRUM experience preferredLike to design clean, reusable code, and create a culture around itIterate through fast development cyclesCompensation
For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $72-125k. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.About Us
