Hayward, CA!Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide production support/administration for SAP MDG application configuration, and supportTake over customizing/configuration/development changes as requested by business users (e.g. user interface), helping build a new requirement, and help keep the lights on in our SAP MDG ApplicationWork with business partners, delivery team and data architects to define and document Master Data user stories, existing and to-be Master Data processes, along with providing technical and functional support.Own the technical triage deliverables between new source system owners, business stakeholders, and IT owners, for aligning MDG appropriate delivery expectations with business partnersCo-facilitate MDG solution confirmation with MDG Implementation partner counterpartsSupport global MDG governance and quality principles, methodologies, and objectivesSupport the UCT SMEs and business change manager during the roll-out process to ensure adequate communication, training and support is providedOverall become the ‘Go-To’ person for the SAP MDG application support.Educational/Certification Requirement:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Industrial Engineering with Computer ServiceExperience with SAP MDM and/or MDG design, deployment, and support experienceSAP CertifiedPreferred Technology Exposure & Skillset:Must Have:
Good Communication and Business facing skills10 years’ work experience, with 4-5 years of SAP MDM/MD experience supporting master data solution on SAP MDM, and/or MDG. Preferable for a global rollout.MDG Workflow experience with experience in BRF2 years’ experience writing ABAP specific to SAP MDG solutions, including workflowsExperience working with S/4 and HANA development. SAP experience in one, or more, of P2P, OCT, P2M, etc SAP modules. Or ABAP TechExperience working with SMEs of different ERP / Source SystemsExperience in MDG Design, Development, Testing, Delivery and RunAny SAP familiarityUnderstanding of SAP Master data elements, attributes, and concepts. Understand business data governance practices and the technical processes they supportExperience harmonizing Vendor, Customer and/or Material Master data from multiple systemsFamiliarity with importing Data Framework and use of BADi, SAP Business WorkflowsKnowledge of ABAP / ABAP on HANA is highly desirableExperience using API interfaces in MDGProject Documentation: Microsoft Office
