Newport, Rhode Island: We have an exciting new opportunity in this beautiful seaside community for an experienced OB/GYN to join a top-notch women’s health group in the state’s top ranked regional medical center. Join a progressive 120-bed community hospital that provides a wide range of medical and surgical services in an academically-oriented environment.
Candidates with leadership experience and interests, and those with Uro/Gyn skills, will receive priority attention!
Become part of a busy team that is currently obstetrically focused, having managed 500 deliveries in 2018. They plan to expand into more gynecological services, including surgery. Outpatient care is offered in a contemporary, welcoming office suite adjacent to the hospital – and in nearby Portsmouth, just 15 minutes away. The hospital’s popular Birthing Center is staffed with NNNPs during the week, whose members share weekend call with local pediatricians.
You will enjoy a convenient schedule with 32 clinical hours/week, plus an admin day. Call is shared on a 1:5 basis. Should you come in as the Medical Director, your time will be split 75/25-80/20, clinical/admin.
