Talent Acquisition Associate/Recruiter - Heavy Civil/Construction Experience

Responsibilities:Responsible for sourcing and recruitment efforts specific to the corporate headquarters and the northeast region to meet hiring needs.Responsible for initial candidate screening, submittals, scheduling of interviews, and gathering interview feedback while ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the process.Build and maintain relationships and strong communication with Talent Acquisition Manager and hiring managers regarding search activities, support, and closure.Conduct and develop innovative sourcing and prescreening activities, and assessment tools to attract the highest caliber and most qualified candidates.Identify optimal talent sources for active and passive job seekers including niche job boards, cold-calling strategies, professional association partnerships, resume databases, diversity organizations, industry networking, employee referrals, Internet sourcing, social media, and college programs.Attend industry, diversity, and college career fairs, events and networking opportunities to promote the company and build a robust talent pipeline.Identify new recruitment services that can more effectively and efficiently support the talent acquisition process.Research market trends in recommending competitive hiring salaries and employee benefits.Maintain requisition data integrity of Application Tracking System.Maintain current recruitment spreadsheet on a daily basis.Required:Bachelor’s degree in related field.3-5 years of Recruitment and Talent Acquisition experience.Experience working within the construction industry.Strong business acumen and excellent customer service skills.Must demonstrate exceptional judgment, discretion and professional courtesy.Ability to multi-task and work in high pressure environment.Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a high degree of confidentiality.Preferred:Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and familiarity with ATS and HRIS systems.Well-developed written presentation, organization, and editing skills.Knowledge of federal and state employment law, equal employment guidelines.
