The client has about $5-10 billion under management and operates all over the US. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all accounting functions for several multifamily properties within the multifamily real estate group. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $45 to $50 per hour.Job Description
Maintaining and supporting the general ledgerRecording revenue, accruing expenses, monthly financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, profit and loss analysisPreparation of consolidated and/or combined financial statements on a quarterly basisRequirements
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAble to communicate with professionals at all levelsAble to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences5 days a week in officeUnderstanding partnership agreements, promotes/waterfalls, and debt agreementsUnderstand accounting and reporting to investorsExperience
2-5+ years of real estate industry experienceInternal controls for real estate operations and accountingFinancial reportingStrong knowledge of GAAPPublic/Private ComboYardi or MRI, preferred
