Our environment of entrepreneurial spirit, culture of expertise and our people-first approach will allow you to thrive while continuing to grow in your career.Position SummaryThe Manager, Corporate Financial Analyst will provide modeling, reporting, and analytical support to the Finance & Accounting team under the direction of the VP of Corporate Finance.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Translate the knowledge of how Berkshire does business into models to provide detailed output for real-time decision makingSupport the budgeting and forecasting processesResponsible for pulling metrics and financial data out of Workday for further analysis or to complete ad-hoc requestsMaintain and improve the existing build outs in WorkdayThoroughly review data coming onto the platform and reconcile where neededEvaluate business specific financial trends and incorporate with industry or economic trends to create relevant outputDevelop controls to ensure data integrityReview the output of existing dashboards and delegate maintenance tasks to the corporate analystAssist with the training of new employees across the firm who will be using the Workday platformCreate new exhibits and visualizations that can be used by senior management and the board of directorsProvide support with ad hoc projects requested by senior managementConsistently demonstrate use of tact and discretionKnowledge/Experience:At least five (5) years of financial analysis and modeling experienceExperience with modeling in Workday Adaptive PlanningInterest in organizing, prioritizing, and leading multiple priorities, using critical thinking and problem solvingReal estate investment industry experience is preferredProven understanding of accounting and finance is requiredProven multi-modal communication style that reaches every collaborator, specifically excellent verbal, and written communicationsAbility to connect with and manage up to senior managementCollaborative working style with inclusive work and thinking behaviors, commitment to excellence in teams and work product, with a strong work ethicDemonstrates emotional intelligence in high pressure and critical situationsTenacity, grit, and perseverance to work on dynamic projects from beginning to end of processRepresent the Berkshire employment brand well to candidates by seeking to understand the capabilities and insights of people with unique backgrounds, cultures, styles, and abilitiesMaintain confidentiality of sensitive information and communications of informationDevelop productive working relationships with all team members including third-party partnersProven high level of ethics and integrity with a straightforward and transparent approachTechnical/Educational Requirements:Bachelor’s degree requiredProficiency with Workday Adaptive Planning preferredDemonstrated advanced financial modeling and Excel skills requiredProven ability to use and learn new technology (e.g., computers/hardware, mobile, software, cloud-based programs)Proficiency with computers, keyboards, monitors and telephone headsets.Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Products (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, Power Point, Power BI)Proficiency with Yardi a plusProficiency with Adobe requiredBerkshire Residential offers an excellent benefits package, focusing on our employees’ total health and wellness.
