Applications Developer – Back End.
We are seeking a talented and motivated Application Developer with a focus on back-end development to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust back-end systems for our web applications. If you are passionate about creating scalable and efficient solutions, thrive in a collaborative environment, and have a strong foundation in back-end development, we want to hear from you.Responsibilities and Duties:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust back-end systems for web applications.Collaborate with front-end developers, UX designers, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.Implement and optimize database structures for optimal performance and data integrity.Work closely with system architects to ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end components.Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely resolutions to technical challenges.Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the development process.Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, translating them into technical specifications.Ensure security and compliance standards are met in the development process.Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.Requirements:
8 years of relevant experience as an applications developer.NCIC Certification is required.Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study.AWS Developer Associate certification.Experience implementing the MVC Development Methodology (Model/View/Controller).3-5 years of experience designing and developing solutions with Springboot and Java in an Agile Software Development environment.Preferably with MVC experience.Preferable with Liquibase experience.3-5 years of experience using git for version control WITH a team not just alone.3-5 years of experience designing and developing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) with Representation State Transfer (REST), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), and JavaScript Object Notation (JSON).3-5 years of technical proficiency with developing database queries, batch jobs, and stored procedures with PL/SQL and NoSQL.1-3 years of experience developing solutions using AWS Simple Messaging Service/Simple Queue Service (SMS/SQS).Experience developing applications with responsive web design frameworks to support multiple platforms including compatibility with Chrome and Edge.Experience with all aspects of configuration management planning including configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, configuration audits, configuration documentation.AWS Developer Associate Certification is a plus.Due to the nature of the work we support, all candidates in consideration for this role must be U.S. Citizens willing to undergo the government issued background investigation process.Ardent
