General Manager

to join our energetic and committed team members at our Clearfield, PA location! The General Manager position will direct and coordinate all activities of the full service ( Parts, Service, and Sales ) dealership by performing day-to-day operations and responsibilities personally or through subordinate dealership Departmental Managers. The General Manager will oversee the office's inventory, costs, and business planning and ensure the team is delivering to Hunter Truck standards for both the Clarksburg and Pennsville locations.WHY SHOULD YOU APPLY?Flexible SchedulingCompetitive WagesCompany Vehicle AvailableVIP Knowledge of Industry DevelopmentExcellent growth and advancement opportunitiesTop Benefits in medical, dental, vision, life and disability insuranceUnparalleled 401(k) Retirement InvestmentsIncentive PlansReferral BonusPet InsurancePaid TrainingOnboarding is driven by you!WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college and 5-10 years related experience and/or training; or minimum of 15 years management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Extensive knowledge in the trucking industry (preferred)Ability to plan over a 3-6 month time spanAbility to organize and manage multiple prioritiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.Valid driver’s license and must meet company insurability standards.Commercial Driver’s License (preferred) and must meet company insurability standards.Vehicle Sales License requiredMust live or be willing to relocate within 30 miles or 45 minutes proximity to the dealership location.LIFE AT HUNTER:Directs and monitors all dealership supervisory personnel functions and completes formal performance evaluations of all departmental managers.Confers with the SVP of Dealer Operations, CFO, and COO to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions.Mentor and advise department managers in the successful creation of annual operating and capital budgets for the branch.Responsible for the administration of all branch facilities and equipment recommending appropriate capital improvements and expenditures.Develops, reviews, updates, and implements business strategic planning including sales, financial performance, and new product development.Conducts market analysis to determine the market potential for all vehicle product lines, parts, and services.Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.Other duties may be assigned.Since 1938,
