Akira Technologies is looking for Data Analysts at various levels who will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to inform strategic decision making.As a Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping data-driven strategies, leveraging your experience in data engineering, analytics, and statistical analysis. If you are passionate about transforming raw data into actionable insights and have a background that includes experience in the US Navy, we want to hear from you.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategy development, data engineering, and statistical analysis, with hands-on experience in the US Navy. In addition to technical skills, the candidate should possess proficiency in data visualization tools such as Qlik or Tableau and have a keen understanding of user experience/interface design.Job Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and objectives.Design and implement data strategies that support business goals and initiatives.Develop and maintain robust data pipelines for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.Conduct statistical analysis and data modeling to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.Create compelling and insightful data visualizations using tools like Qlik or Tableau.Apply user experience/interface design principles to enhance the accessibility and usability of data dashboards and reports.Provide actionable recommendations based on data findings to support decision-making processes.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science).Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a focus on strategy, data engineering, and analytics.Military experience, particularly in the US Navy, is highly desirable.Proficiency in data visualization tools, specifically Qlik or Tableau.Strong statistical analysis skills and experience with statistical software.Excellent programming skills, especially in languages such as Python or R.Familiarity with database management systems (SQL, MongoDB, etc.).Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.US CitizenshipHUBZone residency is preferred.About Akira Technologies:Akira strives to meet and exceed the mission and objectives of US federal agencies.
