Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, seeks a

Vice President of Sales – Light Institutional North America

to join our industry-leading team. You will report to the VP & GM of the Light Institutional business and lead a sales team of approximately 430 associates with 4-6 sales leaders directly reporting to you, and a total revenue scope of approximately $250M with significant growth potential. You’ll be accountable for continuously coordinating, facilitating, and managing the retention, growth, and gain of our sales and service business, as well as developing growth and market strategies.

Preferred location: Naperville, IL but open to remote work/travel during negotiable relocation period.

Provide leadership, strategic direction, and vision to drive profitable growth across the North American Light Institutional Sales teams.Set the field-level strategic direction and facilitate the development of tactical plans to enable achievement of sales objectives.Drive accountability of the team to grow in net new accounts to support revenue objectives.Regularly interact across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure objectives are met.Oversee the development and implementation of appropriate sales processes, procedures, and support needed to increase individual and team effectiveness.Generate sales forecasts and accurately predict revenue monthly.Construct business plans incorporating essential market drivers and all obtainable analytics, while monitoring and adjusting plans according to shifts, emerging conditions, and threats to the business.Demonstrate strong leadership by championing corporate initiatives.Provide continuous coaching and development to a team of area vice presidents to create and maintain value in the Light Institutional segment – act quickly to address performance deficiencies.Support team and internal partners in identifying trends, understanding market conditions, and sharing expertise and knowledge.Reinforce a clear vision for the team corresponding to strategic objectives.Embody Ecolab’s leadership model through your behavior, decision-making, and management style.Contribute to the evolution of our sales and service model targeting enhanced customer retention and employee fulfillment.Partner with leadership on talent management, succession planning, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.5 years leading and developing teams.10 years of successful technical sales or outside sales experience to include calling on multi-level plant or facilities management and developing executive-level relationships utilizing a consultative sales approach.Ability to travel as required to support the region.Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.No immigration sponsorship offered for this role.Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial), or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.); MBA preferred.10 years of experience in water treatment.Prior experience working in or familiarity with industrial environments.Prior experience that demonstrates a strong financial & business acumen, managing P&L.Prior experience leading teams and organizations through operational change, digital embodiment and integration, and sales and service organizational enhancements.About Nalco Water
