Renewable Energy Lawyer - Full Time, In-House

We are looking for lawyers who are passionate about innovation to work as

Renewable Energy Lawyers

with some of the world's largest renewable and oil & gas energy companies. This is an exciting opportunity to tackle complex legal challenges on a global scale in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities:Partner with internal corporate team to provide legal guidance for energy related issues and energy transactions.Draft and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements related to renewable energy and the energy industry.Support the acquisition of solar and storage projects.Experience focused on solar energy and/or battery storage a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:5+ years in commercial contracting and in-house experience at an energy company.Experience within the energy field specifically.Active bar license in good standing in the state in which you currently reside.

Preferred Qualifications:Preferred emphasis on distributed generation, including solar and energy storage.Development, real estate, permitting, construction, and M&A experience also preferred.Familiar with state/federal energy regulations preferred.

Compensation, Benefits & Location:This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $150,000 and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401K and more. Axiomites also get access to professional development resources and learning and development programs. Axiomites predominately work remotely, with the exception that some clients require on-site presence.
