The Nordstrom mobile apps are Nordstrom’s fastest-growing ecommerce platform. Our mission is to provide the same legendary level of service and experience customers know from our stores on our mobile platforms.A day in the life…Leading a squad of engineers building experiences for the Nordstrom iOS appsWorking across the Nordstrom technology organization to integrate with services that power our industry-leading ecommerce experienceCollaborating with our Product leaders on roadmaps for the future of our iOS appsWorking alongside engineers to make code-level decisions that lead to a cleaner and more-sustainable architectureSupporting your engineers in 1-on-1 meetings and in their squads to achieve their career goalsLeading on-call incidents and using telemetry to diagnose issues and involve the right partner teamsLanguages we use: Swift | Kotlin | JavaWe’d love it if you have any of these…BA/BS in Computer Science or closely related degree or equivalent practical experience3+ years of experience building iOS and/or Android apps that are available in the App Store and have at least 10,000 monthly active usersExperience managing engineersAn entrepreneurial mindset, using technology to drive key business metricsExperience with lean software development and A/B experimentationA passion for building diverse, high-functioning teams with people from all backgroundsNo discomfort with direct conversation that holds your team, peers, and leaders accountable to providing world-class experiences for our customersDemonstrable experience of managing effectively through ambiguityPragmatism. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
