Canon Financial Services in Mount Laurel, NJ is currently seeking a .NET Developer (Engineer, Application) who will design, build, test, and implement both internal and external applications to enable key business initiatives. The developer will use a broad range of technologies to implement solutions as needed.This position is full-time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Tuesday and Wednesday with the option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in-office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.Responsibilities:
Utilize the latest development technologies to develop new internal and external applications that meet the requirements of the business.Demonstrate feature development ownership, with the ability to make strategic decisions when weighing the benefits and risks of doing things quickly, doing things right, and avoiding technical debt.Provide project team technical leadership and mentor junior developers - able to lead by example and inspire others.Develop Service-Oriented components integrating data from multiple backend environments.Create components in all tiers of the application including front end, business logic, and data access.Modify and create database objects such as stored procedures and views.Leverage business analysis skills to collaborate with business and use domain knowledge to design, architect, develop, test, and implement end solutions.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required, plus 3 years of related experience.Proficient in .Net Framework C#.Experience with Web Services including SOAP, WCF, REST, and Micro-services.Knowledge of Relational Databases (SQL Server and Oracle).Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like Angular JS.Experience in Application Performance Tuning.Knowledge of Unit and Regression Testing.Experience in Full Stack Application Development.Requirements Development experience.Financial Services background is a plus.Familiarity with statistical and machine learning tools (e.g., Python, Azure Machine Learning Studio) is a plus.Other Data Science skill sets are a plus.Experience with Containers and Cloud development.
