Agile Decision Sciences, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is currently seeking a
Business Analyst
to join our team supporting the Department of Labor/DOL in Washington, DC.
Roles/Responsibilities:
The Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for providing support to the customer by gathering, analyzing, defining, validating and documenting business requirements, functional requirements, and assisting with the creation of test scripts. The BA will provide support to the customer during all phases of the software development life cycle as well as post implementation support for issue diagnosis and documentation. This position plays a critical role between the customer and the development team.
Requirements:
Must have a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 4 years related experience or a Masters Degree and 2 years related experience. An additional 2 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.Provides tutoring to mid-level analysts; requires at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.Must have excellent communication (verbal & written) skills. Technical writing skills preferred.Must have strong familiarity with Power Point, Excel, Word & Microsoft Outlook.Must be able to take complex requirements from the customer and translate the essentials to the team in logical written interpretation.Must have excellent customer service oriented attitude.Must be very organized and be able to prioritize tasks.Must have excellent listening, interviewing, questioning, analytical, observation, modeling and interpersonal skills.Must be well versed in software cycles and agile methodology.Must be able to design and present process flow diagrams as well as deliver presentations.Must be able to work in a team environment as well as individually.Must be able to take instructions from lead and adhere to customer and managerial demands.Must be able to meet deadlines.
