Key responsibilitiesIdentify and engage with key decision-makers and stakeholders to establish strong relationships and drive new business initiatives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, safety, training, and operations planning, to develop tailored solutions that meet customer’s needs.Track and analyze industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify areas for strategic advantage.Prepare compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients and partners.Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies, adjusting as necessary to ensure optimal results.Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.Provide regular reports and updates to key stakeholders on business development activities, pipeline, and progress towards targets.Analyze and forecast revenue and strategic business trends and report findings to senior management.Analyze adjustments that are required to keep the company profitable and communicate to different stakeholders.Qualifications and minimum requirementsStrategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and presentation skills.Strong communication, analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel.Previous service or operational experience required.Cross-utilized experience (Above the Wing/Below the Wing) required.Previous supervisory experience required.Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field.Travel varies and can be up to 20%.What we provideCompetitive benefits.Competitive wages.Earned paid time off.Discounted travel for you and your immediate family.Career advancement opportunities.United Ground Express is an equal opportunity employer.
