As the Director of Sales, you will occupy a dynamic role overseeing private event sales across all PH-managed restaurants, directly reporting to the head of SalesYour responsibilities include managing the process of private dining reservations, coordinating storewide buyouts, and orchestrating partner events, with a focus on generating new sales prospects through Business Development Representative (BDR) initiatives and client relationshipsYou will also be responsible for overseeing sales strategies, processes, and procedures for all PH conceptsThis leadership position is expected to demonstrate and abide by Parker Hospitality’s company core valuesGenerate event sales by scouting new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships across all Parker Hospitality locationsAct as the primary contact for clients, managing event planning, contract development, detailing, and coordinating with restaurant and store teams for executionCollaborate with PH operations teams (Food & Beverage, Management, Front of House, Event Sales Managers) in event preparationConduct additional client meetings and walk-throughs to finalize event detailsWork closely with store-level Event Sales Managers to oversee large private events from inception to conclusion, including booking, planning, and executionCreate customized proposals, contracts, and event orders, tailoring packages to individual client needsProvide post-event recaps, offering operational, sales, and production insights to the teamManage fiscal responsibilities, including rentals, supplies, and labor costsDevelop and implement annual and quarterly business development plansStay updated on industry trends and best practices in events and cateringImplement PH private dining standards across all managed propertiesConduct quarterly audits of private dining operations at all managed locationsLead the event sales team, providing strategic sales coaching, and constructive feedbackSupport the event sales team in strategic planning and long-term selling strategiesLead weekly meetings with the event sales and marketing teamParticipate in weekly management meetings at restaurantsPresent at monthly P&L reviews, discussing private dining performance and strategiesFacilitate communication and referral selling among restaurant sales teamsEngage in local event networking activities with the sales teamEnsure prompt response to all leads by the sales team within the same business dayShare industry trends, strategies, and news with on-site restaurant teamsCommunicate specific event requirements of properties to the Restaurant General ManagersReport weekly sales performance and quarterly forecasts to the Director of Marketing/COOMonitor private dining performance against quarterly quotas and goalsCollaborate with restaurant General Managers to align sales and pricing strategies for market competitivenessAssist in catering menu development with restaurant Executive ChefsWork with the Finance Department to ensure PCI compliance within the event sales team and managed restaurantsBenefits
