Special Events Sales Coordinator
Position Overview :We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Entry-Level Special Events Sales Coordinator for ourhigh-end Italian restaurant group, which features three luxurious event spaces and offerspremium catering and banquet services. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales, orfood service experience, and the ability to manage relationships with clients to generaterevenue through events and catering.
Key Responsibilities :
- Proactively seek out new business opportunities through B2B sales, networking, and client outreach.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and localbusinesses. - Attend local events, and community functions to promote our event spaces and catering services. - Create customized event proposals for clients, including menu selections and event logistics.
- Oversee event planning from booking to execution, ensuring a seamless client experience. - Work closely with restaurant management and kitchen staff to ensure flawless eventexecution. - Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, leads, and client interactions in the CRMsystem.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and revenue goals. - Conduct site tours and tastings for prospective clients to showcase event spaces and offerings. -Works closely with the Private Events Sales Manager to ensure the successful execution of allevents.
Qualifications :
- 1+ years of sales experience, ideally in event planning, hospitality, or food service.
- Ability to generate new leads, close sales, and build long-term client relationships. - Knowledge of the food service industry, particularly in high-end dining. - Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel for client meetings and events as needed. - Knowledge of CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
