What You Will Do
Guidehouse’s State Health team strives for a more resilient and sustainable community health infrastructure, guiding state and federal decision makers in program implementation, stakeholder engagement, and workforce optimization. We help state-run programs with infrastructure and regulatory compliance, waiver and state policy, monitoring, and operational effectiveness. Our experts assist clients in financial budgeting and reporting, rate development and value-based payment, supplemental payments, waiver neutrality, and cost sharing.
Senior Consultants have responsibility for client management, solution implementation and generation of project results. You will own project workstreams and interact with the client daily to ensure engagement success. This includes supporting day-to-day operational meetings with client sponsors and consulting leaders. Senior Consultants are expected to prepare and communicate well-organized, effective reports and presentations to client and internal executives. You will lead, coach and mentor consultants and ensure quality deliverables.

What You Will Need
Minimum Years of Experience: 3 yearsMinimum Degree Status: Graduate Degree (Must still be enrolled in an accredited graduate degree program (MBA, MHA, MPH, MA or MS) in Fall of 2023 and graduate by Summer of 2024)Would not require sponsorship now or anytime in the future to work in the United States; Students possessing F-1 or J-1 visas are excluded from interview schedules or being hired for this position.
What Would Be Nice To Have
MBA, MHA, MPA, MPH, MPP, MA, or MS or a similar graduate degree is preferredPrevious consulting experience is preferredKnowledge of Business Analytics software Access, SAS or R, and/or SQLStrong knowledge of and application of healthcare research resourcesUnderstanding of market/financial analysis in context of healthcare payer needsStrong quantitative and organizational skillsMust be able to demonstrate written and oral communication and presentation skillsExcellent quantitative analysis skillsFacility with and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPointAbility to translate data into graphic or visual representationsHeavy travel (east coast to west coast) may be required, depending on client assignment.
