TikTok has global offices including Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Dubai, Singapore, Jakarta, Seoul, and Tokyo.About the TeamThe infrastructure team supports the company's fast growth by building and operating hyper-scale datacenters, managing the life cycle of server fleet, providing cloud solutions, and developing various infrastructure services ensuring they are scalable and reliable.We are looking for a Product Manager to join our growing Global Infrastructure Engineering team and manage the Bytedance CDN/DSA product lifecycle by gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product roadmap, and working closely with engineering to deliver the product. You will collaborate with different functional groups including Engineering, Strategy, Supply Chain, and Operations.You will succeed by supporting the company’s overall strategy and goals of growing Bytedance Infrastructure and developing internal infrastructure products and services. Your role as a Product Manager-CDN makes that a reality by collaborating closely with the engineering teams to build a cloud-native CDN/DSA platform that can be deployed across multiple Bytedance-owned edge sites and public clouds.ResponsibilitiesWork well with internal teams including developers, SRE, and operations ensuring requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.Help in producing meaningful technical solutions that add value for our customers by working across CDN/DSA products.Gather needs, transforming them into requirements and new features.Take part in the CDN/DSA roadmap and the prioritization of features.Understand, research, and follow CDN technology trends in the industry.Follow competitors and conduct capability analysis regularly.Metering of metrics for Billing, Usage, Adoption.Collaborate with other product managers and internal engineering teams to understand the use cases, technical requirements, and customer requirements to deliver.Capable of breaking down complex problems to make quick and thoughtful decisions. You'll have to anticipate challenges, make tradeoffs, and build consensus.Qualifications5+ years of core product management experience, with a track record of shipping software products.Familiarity with CDN, Multi-Cloud, Edge Computing market.5+ years of CDN work experience.Experience managing teams developing and managing products in an agile development environment.Experience partnering with engineers and cross-functional teams such as finance, supply chain, and operations.Have a good understanding of Cloud Native Technologies, DDOS, DNS, Firewalls, Cyber Security, Reverse Proxy, and Load Balancers.Strong verbal and written communications skills.Preferred QualificationsMBAExperience working in Kubernetes spaceExperience working in CDN spaceTikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.Our company benefits are designed to convey company culture and values, to create an efficient and inspiring work environment, and to support our employees to give their best in both work and life.
