We are currently looking for

Account Executives

to join our teams across various business groups, for varying customer sizes, in our enterprise, regulated, and partner services organizations.Microsoft’s Enterprise Team focuses on empowering customers on their digital journey, from envisioning new possibilities to delivering solutions that result in targeted business outcomes and a great customer experience and revenue growth for Microsoft.You will have the opportunity to drive digital technology transformation (in partnership with your customer) to achieve both Microsoft and customer business outcomes. Leveraging your large, multi-functional team across the breadth of the Microsoft product portfolio, you will engage at the most senior levels of your customer to bring industry-relevant solutions to help the customer adopt and embrace digital technologies.With a proven history of driving growth in market share, achieving sales targets, customer obsession, and partner collaboration, this role will give the opportunity to leverage your extensive customer network and sales experience to execute against a territory account plan.As an Account Executive, you will be considered as one of the following, depending on your expertise:The Account Executive at Microsoft leads our most valued customers into the digital age. The

Account Executive

will be responsible for the following:Customer Engagement

Builds and maintains relationships with business decision makers at high levels of the customer's organization through consultative engagement to establish trust and credibility in future interactions. Continues to build reputation with customers during interactions by being customer-focused, consistently honoring commitments, explaining technical concepts relevant to the customer, and connecting the customer to Microsoft executives.Develops a strong understanding of the customer's business and technology needs to identify opportunities to drive optimizations and new business and technology solutions/ideas.Initiates conversations with customers on digital transformation for assigned accounts. Mitigates competitive risk.Account Management

Manages and executes account plans for multiple accounts to ensure Microsoft revenue targets and customer business needs are met.Builds and maintains a network of internal and external partners to drive opportunities and influence impact for multiple assigned accounts.Plans ahead to determine order of priority for action on accounts based on customer needs, sales-generating importance, growth opportunity and assessment of risks.Sales Excellence

Seeks customer feedback of assigned accounts to identify and understand the drivers of satisfaction and/or dissatisfaction.Orchestrates extended virtual teams and key stakeholders to engage decision makers of assigned accounts.Articulates Microsoft's value proposition aligned to customer's business objectives.Develops value-proposition presentations and specialized business plans for customers that drive business outcomes to generate business and upsells.Industry Knowledge

Proactively builds and maintains a strong knowledge of Microsoft's product landscape, solutions, and strategy in the industry of assigned accounts.Other

Required Qualifications

3+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education) and/or driving digital transformation.OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND 2+ year(s) experience working in a relevant industry.OR Master's Degree in Business Administration AND 1+ year(s) experience working in an industry.Preferred Qualifications

Azure Certifications and/or business value selling certifications.3+ years technology account management experience OR equivalent.Account Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $82,400 - $146,400 per year.There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $111,700 - $159,800 per year.Account Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,300 - $180,300 per year.There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $140,900 - $199,000 per year.Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
