The Industry Solutions sales team are looking for Consulting Account Executive (ConAE) with a passion for developing and winning market-making opportunities that deliver customer value and enable transformational business outcomes for our customers in the Retail and Consumer Goods Industry.
The focus of the Consulting Account Executive, Retail and Consumer Goods, is to drive and close Azure, BizApps, Modern Work, Cyber Security and other Solution Area Consulting opportunities within the Retail and Consumer Goods Industry.
As an experienced Consulting Account Executive this role will give you the opportunity to accelerate your career growth, growing your solution area expertise, developing leads, qualification of strategic opportunities and ownership through to successful deal closure, leveraging cutting edge solutions for the biggest Retail and Consumer Goods customers that grow cloud consumption.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the Consulting Customer Relationship Management and leading the consulting virtual account team, realizing Customer Vision through consultative selling, listening and consulting, and continuously planning to achieve customers business outcomes and using various channels to identify and develop new opportunities.
You will collaborate with customer and partner connections along with the account teams as a One Microsoft Approach adhering to Microsoft processes and methodologies.
You will Identify and sell Industry Cloud solutions to address customer challenges through co-Innovation with partners and the broader Microsoft teams to drive Industry cloud adoption, engage cross-industry resources and programs to empower and achieve customer digital transformation.
You will deliver operational deal excellence, manage and optimize time spent collaborating with customers and lead orchestration with core account team members to realize value by exceeding customers' expectations and applying Budget, Authority, Need and Timeline (BANT) qualification approach and profiling Cloud consumption against customer value realization milestones.
Sales acumen in Microsoft technologies, with focus on Azure, Cloud Migrations, Infrastructure, Data & Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security and Business Applications.
Role modelling and demonstrating customer and partner obsession through customer business outcomes leveraging solution area expertise.
Providing an impactful point of view (POV) where Industry Solutions (IS) can accelerate consumption and incorporate that PoV into Account planning cycles.
Accelerating Cloud growth: Working seamlessly with the wider account team, building and strengthening relationships across the Microsoft teams to drive consumption through Industry Solutions projects and programs.
Continuously building sales expertise, learning and evolving Industry and solution knowledge to support customers and the wider one Microsoft team and investing in personal development.
Deal excellence: Championing and adhering to Microsoft processes and methodologies, on strategy selling, pipeline hygiene, logging and maintaining all opportunities (revenue and consumption) for Industry Solutions opportunities, continuous qualification, Opportunity Review Board (ORB) submissions, close plan ownership.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
8+ years industry sales experience in the commercial or public sector (e.g. Finance, Local Government)OR Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years industry sales experience in the commercial or public sector (e.g. Finance, Local Government) or related workOR equivalent experience.3+ years consulting solution sales experience.Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology (IT), or related field AND 6+ years industry solution or consulting sales experience in the commercial or public sector (e.g. Financial Services, Local Government) or related workOR Master's Degree in Business, Information Technology (IT), or related field AND 8+ years experience in technology sales experience in the commercial or public sector (e.g. Finance, Local Government) or related workOR equivalent experience5+ years consulting solution sales experienceConsulting Account Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,000 - $217,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $168,600 - $237,500 per year.
