General SummaryA hands-on Sales leader responsible for driving all sales channels at Rise, including inbound contact center, Enterprise, SMB direct and Channel partners, 3rd party resellers, and door-to-door. Develops plans and ensures attainment of new customer sales/revenue within budgeted SAC. Staffs and directs sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of Rise’s targets in line with company vision and values. Establishes sales plans, quotas, and strategies to expand residential and business customer base.Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesBuild a high-performing sales team; hire and retain the right talent in the right roles; sets goals, holds reports accountable for execution and achieving sales targets.Build a world-class inbound sales team focused on converting calls and maximizing customer LTV with consultative selling and capitalizing on upsell opportunities.Formulate account strategies and relationships with large accounts, wholesale and channel partners.Develop and maintain account plans and detailed financial forecasts. Conduct accurate sales forecasts and achieve sales targets.Manage commission and incentive programs.Support and develop initiatives across Sales and the company primarily focused on sales productivity and efficiency. Expand opportunities into untapped markets and product portfolios and develop sales propositions; focus on fiber MDU and HOA penetration.Interface with Marketing on lead generation initiatives. Participate in feasibility and market studies to identify opportunities for increased sales.Work across departments to communicate expectations, track results, and resolve conflicts. Focus on making Rise ‘easiest to do business with’ for customers.Job RequirementsDemonstrated sales management experience (at least 5-6 years) in telecommunications sales and sales leadership across multiple channels.A clear track record for consistently exceeding revenue goals. Success leading and managing large sales teams and sales operations (experience managing sales team of at least 20 individuals is required).Demonstrated leadership ability, people management, and mentoring.Exceptional strategic planning, account management, and contract negotiation skills required. Experience in consultative sales techniques and account planning (including account profiling, customer needs analysis, sales opportunity development, service improvement planning, and long-range account management strategies).Demonstrates Company values, maintains a positive open demeanor, encourages different points of view, moves team forward through change; provides timely information; communicates context for business decisions; recognizes accomplishments; and fosters teamwork and collaboration.Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of applicable education and experience required; MBA or related graduate degree preferred.
