iHeartMedia is seeking a Vice President and Counsel to join our Legal Affairs/Contracts team.What You'll Do:

Negotiate employment contracts with opposing counsel and/or agentsPrepare and draft a high volume of contracts for on-air and podcast talent, programming employees and executives, including complex financial structuring for multi-year deals.Analyze issues and provide strategic advice and transaction expertise with the business teams.Build and maintain direct talent relationships as well as agent/attorney relationships for Company’s broadcast, programming and podcast talent.Maintain and expand strong working relationships with the local markets, networks, Premiere Networks and podcast teams.Support the Senior Vice President, Talent Affairs with oversight and management of standards, policies and best practices for all talent deal negotiations, contract administration and reporting.Support the Company’s contract management system.Advise and counsel assigned markets on any broadcast operations issues, questions and/or projects related to programming talent.What You'll Need:

Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school and 6+ years of legal experience in a U.S. Law firm or an in-house legal position.Admitted to practice law from any state within the United States and in good standing;Experience negotiating with opposing counsel, and also preferably with talent agents;Experience drafting contracts, in particular employment and/or entertainment deals;Must be extremely detail oriented and a self-starter;Exceptional time management skills;Be a quick learner in a high paced environment and be able to retain information quickly.Able to prioritize urgent requests or time sensitive contracts.Be prompt with responses to business and team members.Ability to work with senior management.Familiarity with a contract management system is a plus.What You'll Bring:
