We are looking for
Software Engineers
who are excited to apply their talents to delivering cutting-edge solutions to our customer's challenging projects. Our platforms are primarily built in a Linux environment using JavaScript and Typescript, with React.
Position location is on-site at prime's office in Boulder, Colorado 5 days per week.
We seek people who resonate with Outside Analytics' core values of advancing people and mission across both commercial and US Government markets. The ideal candidate is a recognized professional with hands-on technical expertise with a good understanding of technical engineering concepts. You have demonstrated experience in writing consistently high-quality code using industry best practices. You enjoy a complex user story and tackle sub-tasks with little oversight.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain web applications using JavaScript and TypeScript with ReactOptimize applications, ensuring UI/UX feasibilityImplement API designs and architectureCommunicate effectively with other departmentsCollaborate with cross-functional teams such as software architects, program managers, designers, and other engineers to design, develop and test software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.Analyze user requirements and develop software specifications.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows software development best practices.Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to other engineers.Debug and fix issues.Develop and execute test plans to ensure software quality.Deploy software applications to production environments.Maintain and update software applications to ensure they meet user needs and remain secure.Develop and maintain documentation.Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in technology.Clearance RequirementThis position requires the ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance. Interim or Active DOD Secret clearance or higher is preferred.U.S. Citizenship is required.Candidate must agree to participate in a background screen.Required Qualifications And SkillsBS or advanced degree in Computer Science or similar relevant field5 to 15 years of experience specifically in a software engineering role (an advanced degree (eg: Masters, PhD) provides two years of experience)Professional hands-on software engineering experience using JavaScript and TypeScript with ReactDetail orientedGood verbal and written communication skills.Candidates who have one or more of the following skills will be preferred:Building backend web services and/or native applicationsC++ 21 or higher, PythonContainerization (eg: Docker, Kubernetes)CI/CD and DevOps tools and methodologiesDatabase design (eg: Postgres, NoSQL)Messaging middleware (eg: ZeroMQ, KAFKA)Atlassian toolsInterim or Active DoD SECRET security clearance or higher.Salary Range:
In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $115,000 - $175,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation.
