The Health, Economics, Environment, and Development (HEED) division is looking for a dynamic, strategic Sr. Human Resources Business Partner to join our fun, collaborative HR team. This role will be assigned to an ICF office in the US (with the ability to work a flexible hybrid schedule) and may require occasional travel supporting a geographically dispersed team.The Sr. HR Business Partner role is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides Human Resources support to assigned lines of businesses. In this role you’ll have the opportunity to advise and coach leaders in all elements of talent management, including identifying current and future human capital needs, issues, and priorities, and leading the execution of the appropriate actions to help the business achieve their objectives. The Sr. HRBP will collaborate closely with the HR Consulting team and the HR Center of Excellence to deliver solutions to address business needs. He/she will also collaborate with other HR colleagues on assigned projects and initiatives as required.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the primary HR contact to assigned Lines of Business.Work with business leaders on managing performance and ensure optimal business decisions are made that protect and strengthen the ICF commitment to diversity, inclusion and belonging.Partner with the business to lead companywide HR priorities and establish and implement effective human capital strategies that drive employment engagement.Help transform business strategies and objectives into individual performance goals; help to cascade those goals through the line organization to build a performance and feedback culture.Facilitate and support succession management for both leadership and top talent.Use HR data analytics and reporting to identify actionable trends and clear recommendations to guide leaders for effective and insightful decision making and action planning.Identify and improve leadership and management practices.Oversee/collaborate on employee relations matters - collaborate with the business and other HR staff as appropriate to develop resolution strategies when specific ER issues arise.Support both HEED and Corporate DEI programs and initiatives.Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal/regulatory federal and state requirements and ensure fair and consistent daily management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance for employees.Engage with Shared Services/COE Teams (Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Payroll and Compliance) and Leadership to execute business initiatives and support enterprise-wide projects.Promote ICF's Core Values through HR programs and practices, model personal integrity, drive the importance of ethics and compliance throughout the business, and address related issues in a timely and effective manner.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related discipline.6+ years of progressive HR Business Partner or related experience.Demonstrated experience in providing hands-on HR support, for a dispersed employee population.Demonstrated success in assisting managers with talent management, addressing organizational and employee development issues, and resolving complex employee relations issues.Preferred Skills/Experience:PHR/SPHR or SHRM CP or SCP certification.Experienced in assessment tools, and comfortable in debriefing assessment profiles at the individual and work group levels.Experience using Workday.Proven ability to successfully support, coach, and influence internal clients to include with clients in varying geographic locations, both domestic and international.Strong efficiency with data analytics – compiling data, understanding the data and telling the story via creating data visuals in tools such as Microsoft Office.Demonstrated knowledge of HR practices and disciplines, including talent management, compensation, performance management, employee/career development and general support in a broad-based HR generalist role.Solid experience in HR project management, program implementation and training delivery.Demonstrated expertise in supporting a large, complex, multi-location organization while working with managers across various offices.Proven ability as an effective team member on virtual teams and ability to successfully support, coach, and influence remote clients.Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.Professional Skills:Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy and influence senior leaders.High-level of proficiency in problem solving skills/critical thinking with the ability to analyze complex situations, identify existing or potential problems, and recommend solutions.Comfortable working with all levels of employees including Vice Presidents while establishing trust and credibility.Demonstrated capability in providing thought leadership.Team player with the ability to take initiative, work in a high demand, fast-paced environment and work with multiple priorities.Sound business ethics and judgment, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.Ability to apply detailed knowledge of organizational/company procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for our clients.Exceptional collaboration skills within a center of excellence HR business model.Effective communicator and collaborator, capable of interfacing with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is: $92,986.00 - $158,076.00 Nationwide Remote Office (US99).
