Senior Product Manager – Product Data Cloud Services

will be responsible for developing and commercializing new products and line extensions for the Omnipod 5 Platform, while supporting other Insulet franchises with enterprise data cloud services. The successful leader will have experience leading end-to-end product management for global connected products, with the ability to translate business goals into high-impact product initiatives. Informed by deep understanding of customer needs, competitive dynamics in the market, and technology constraints and opportunities, he/she/they will develop and lead the execution of a roadmap that positions Insulet for sustained market leadership.Responsibilities

Cultivate deep understanding of customer needs, competitive dynamics, and market opportunitiesLead teams through data-driven processes to test commercial viability and technical feasibility, and then translate learnings into business cases informed by clear roadmaps and global platform execution plansDevelop and articulate a clear vision for products and lead execution of the integrated roadmap to achieve enterprise and franchise level goalsOwn full product lifecycle, guiding trade-offs and release plans for new features, launches in new global markets, in-market sustaining activities, and technical debt retirementDefine integrated release targets & scope, value proposition & delivery to drive growth, provide customers with cadence of new innovations, and maximize return on investmentResponsible for on-market product performance, including but not limited to market share, retention, product complaints, etc.Accountable to build and deliver business casesLead execution and release of product initiatives with technology teams, medical, regulatory, manufacturing and other teams across Insulet to lead on-budget, on-time cross-functional execution to realize value and advance Insulet’s missionCollaborate with Product Marketing Managers to shape integrated launch strategy for global productsCollaborate with other product managers to establish processes and best practices for Product Management and Product Owners at InsuletCoordinate on architecture and scalability requirements and guide investment timingCreate bottom-up planning for annual & strategic plansCoordinate medical & scientific input & reviewCollaborate on franchise roadmap and priorities in relation to enterprise-wide strategiesKey Decision Rights

6+ yrs experience in a Product Management position, ideally in product cloud spaceBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business; MBA preferred.Experience with enterprise cloud and medical device product management, with deep knowledge of regulatory, data privacy, security, & quality requirements globallyExperience developing and commercializing connected products/line extensionsExperience leading end-to-end product managementDiabetes experience or knowledge a plusThe position can be remote, hybrid or in-person at our San Diego office. The preferred location is near San Diego, CA. Travel is estimated at.NOTE: This position is eligible for 100% remote working arrangements (may work from home/virtually 100%; may also work hybrid on-site/virtual as desired).The US base salary range for this full-time position is $157,600.00 - $236,800.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
