The Gap Technology team is seeking a seasoned and operationally strong leader for the crucial role of Director of IT Operations and Vendor Management. This influential position will play a key role in shaping a new Vendor Management Office (VMO) and operational processes monitoring.What You'll Do

Vendor Management:Establish and lead a formal Vendor Management Office (VMO).Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align vendor strategies with organizational objectives and drive cost savings.Guide solutioning, evaluation, and selection of vendors in alignment with organizational goals.Track and update quarterly vendor score cards and business reviews.Identify areas for performance improvement and collaborate with Gap vendor relationship owners for implementation.Mentor and train Gap vendor relationship owners across the organization in vendor management. Provide leadership and influence to drive results through cross-functional collaboration.Operational Processes:Collaborate with senior Tech leaders to define, implement, and monitor key operational processes.Drive visibility to the status of key operations and processes through a monthly dashboard.Establish governance for risk management, contracts, financials, and IT talent.Cost Optimization:Drive Tech cost optimization opportunities through the establishment of a Cost Leadership Council.Work with Tech leaders to identify and track cost-saving opportunities in various areas, such as hardware/software/SaaS spend, purchased services spend, contingent labor spend, and cloud spend.Who You Are

Experience with Software Asset Manager (CSAM) or IT Asset Manager (CITAM).Experience in building a VMO, strategic vendor relationships, and successfully aligning vendor strategies with organizational goals.Knowledge of industry best practices in IT operations management, vendor management, and IT performance improvement.Strong program/project management skillset, high accountability, and a keen understanding of the Tech industry landscape.A general understanding of Tech P&L is also extremely useful.Benefits at Gap Inc.

Salary Range: $185,500 - $245,800 USDEmployee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
