Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicleDrive vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs.Pick-up and safely transport goods to intended destinationPerform Pre-trip and Post-trip inspections of your vehicle dailyCheck weather conditions and road reports before departureEnsure contents are properly secured in trailer and/or on flatbed, to prevent damage/injuryObtain signatures to confirm and complete deliveriesEffectively communicate with dispatchConfirm that the contents of each shipment load matches the manifest documentAlways ensure your vehicle is kept cleanMaintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, tire pressure, repairs, etc.)Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encounteredFollow delivery schedule and rest at appropriate timesTrack and report working hoursAdhere to company rules and regulationsObey all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather/road conditionsComply with ICC and DOT regulations; Maintain Driver LogsEDL Driving Compliance & OSHA Safety complianceTimely delivery of ordersComply with Motive expectationsMinimum Driver Requirements
Applicants must meet all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Qualifications;Have a valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) with proper endorsements in the applicants' state of residenceNo current CDL suspension or revocationNo failed or refused drug or alcohol test in the last 5 years (this includes DWI's, DUI's and BAC's)Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)Good DAC ReportClean Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) ReportNo convictions for a "serious or disqualifying traffic violation" within the last three (3) yearsA stable work history and good references, previous employers and references will be checked and must be verifiableMust provide no less than three (3) years of previous work history, applicants must also provide work history for all commercial driving jobs for the past ten (10) yearsMust pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screenMust pass an ERGO examSuccessfully complete orientationMust be able to drive a manual transmission vehicleMust pass a background check, DOT drug test & Medical Certification (Fit-for-duty test) per FMCSAPhysical Requirements
