Westminster Canterbury Richmond is looking for an

IT Support Specialist

to provide technical support to our community of 700 employees and 800 residents. The IT Support Specialist responds to and diagnoses a wide range of customer issues submitted to the Help Desk and is responsible for the installation and technical support of computers and peripherals.

This full-time position works onsite at our beautiful community nestled in the historic Bellevue neighborhood.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

Provide help desk support to residents and staffConfigure and install computers and peripheralsSetup new users on the networkMaintain inventory of computer equipmentAssist in the monitoring of the backup and antivirus systemPerform basic network trouble shootingAssist in staff software training as neededProvide backup support to the Telecommunication SpecialistAdditional duties as assignedEQUIPMENT:

Basic programming skillsWeb developmentTelecommunications experienceREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Associate's degree in information systems or two years' work experience or equivalent knowledge of troubleshooting desktops in a network environmentDESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
